What type of custom projects do I do?

Particularly, I make Premium Hardwood Dining Room tables, Live Edge Tables, outdoor tables, bathroom vanities, built-ins, coffee tables, feature walls. Why did I open up Carbon based Designs Wood shop?

I wanted custom woodwork and in reality, I love having my own unique spin on how furniture can look. Consequently, That is why I started Carbon Based Designs Wood Shop. I wanted something that wasn’t available for purchase in stores or on the market. So I educated myself on how to build via you tube videos and lots of books on building.

Looking back, I started making my own furniture over a decade ago. I was living off grid building big structures for the space like a chicken coop, Sauna, and pergola to name a few. Then, I remember I couldn’t find a tiny functional coffee table for my Tiny House. I still use this cute little functional plywood coffee table and have gone on to bigger and badder creations like an entire kitchen and bathroom remodel. My own 10′ x 10′ dry sauna, 8′ x 16′ Cedar Shed, a pergola and more.

Is it worth it to work with a local custom wood shop?

Undeniably, there is never a wrong time to start buying high-end one of a kind designs that will last you a lifetime. As a matter of fact, custom made woodworking might be expensive but these pieces will always be stylish and be able to be passed down to the generations to come.
